Seabourn to explore Alaska, the Pacific coast, Canada & New England in 2024
Seabourn has unveiled new “close to home voyages” in North America for 2024 travel with 25 immersive voyages in Alaska, the Pacific Coast and Canada/New England.
Clients can discover Alaska, the Pacific Coast, and Canada/New England with Seabourn Odyssey exploring “The Great Land” for a total of 18 sailings from seven to 11 days from late spring through summer and into fall.
Seabourn Quest will sail the coasts of Canada and New England during peak leaf-peeping season with seven sailings of 12 to 14 days between August and October 2024.
All 25 voyages are now open for sale and available to book today.
As with all Seabourn ships, the intimate size and maneuverability of Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Quest – each carrying just 458 passengers – assure privileged views at every turn, as well as exploration of small destinations and remote locations to allow guests to experience these locations in a deep and genuine way.
“It is such a highlight to sail both coasts of North America when the scenery is at its most breathtaking, and the cultures in each region can be experienced by our guests to the fullest on small, yet luxurious Seabourn ships,” said Josh Leibowitz, president of Seabourn. “Alaska and Canada and New England are awe-inspiring destinations and part of our strategy to offer ‘close to home’ options for our North America guests. We look forward to welcoming and delivering special ‘Seabourn moments’ to our guests on board both Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Quest.”
Seabourn has carefully curated an in-depth schedule for its 2024 season in Alaska, along the Pacific Coast, and Canada and New England, with itineraries visiting smaller and interesting ports. Among highlights to anticipate and relish on board are:
The Majesty of Alaska Aboard Seabourn Odyssey
Take in the beauty and magnificence of Alaska on board Seabourn Odyssey, which will feature 18 sailings in Alaska from May through October 2024.
The season includes a total of 14 seven-day itineraries headed northbound or southbound between Vancouver and Juneau, with different sites, scenes, adventures, and ports to experience each way. Each seven-day voyage can also be combined to create a longer, more immersive 14-day round-trip Vancouver voyage.
Seabourn Odyssey will also offer two 10-day Alaska Fjord Odyssey itineraries, as well as two 11-day Inside Passage & Alaska Fjords voyages, scheduled round trip from Vancouver in June and September.
Each of Seabourn Odyssey’s sailings in Alaska will take in at least one glacier, with Glacier Bay – a National Monument, National Park, Biosphere Reserve, International World Heritage Site, home to more than 50 named glaciers, and wildlife from bears and moose to harbour seals and whales – featured on five different voyages through the season.
The season also includes Seabourn Journeys, pre- or post-cruise excursions to destinations that include land-based accommodations and explorations.
Seabourn Odyssey’s 2024 Alaska season will also offer a variety of “active luxury” adventures through Ventures by Seabourn, with optional escorted activities for guests to get up close to wildlife and other wonders via hike, kayak, catamaran, and Zodiac with skilled expert guides leading the way.
Explore the Pacific Coast Aboard Seabourn Odyssey
Seabourn Odyssey will head south on an eight-day Pacific Gold Coast voyage departing Vancouver on October 11. The ship will stop at Seattle, Victoria, Portland (Oregon), Eureka (California), and an overnight stay in San Francisco with a heart-melting sail past the iconic Golden Gate Bridge to conclude the voyage on October 19.
Canada & New England
On the Atlantic Coast, Seabourn Quest will explore Canada and New England with seven sailings (one more than in 2023) from August 7 through November 1, 2024. This includes four 12-day itineraries headed southbound or northbound between Montreal and New York City, with the same sites, scenes, and ports of call each way.
Seabourn Quest will also offer a single 12-day itinerary sailing round trip from Montreal and steeped with Canada content, and conclude the season with a 14-day voyage from Montreal to Miami, stopping along the eastern seaboard of the U.S.
