MSC World Asia launches December 2026 with Mediterranean itineraries
MSC Cruises has announced details for MSC World Asia, the cruise line's latest World Class ship, launching December 4, 2026, with seven-night Mediterranean itineraries.
The ship will sail to Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta during the winter 2026/27 season.
Summer 2027 itineraries will call at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina and Valletta.
MSC World Asia will feature Asia-inspired design elements throughout the vessel, including a 39-foot stainless-steel dragon sculpture suspended above the World Promenade, adorned with nearly 700 mirrors and 3,000 LED lights.
New onboard features include The Spiral @ Tree of Life, a 267-foot dry slide designed after Singapore's Gardens by the Bay, and a Pan-Asian Street Food specialty restaurant featuring cuisine from Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Indonesia.
The Family Aventura district will include The Harbour, an outdoor park with the Cliffhanger over-water swing ride, high ropes course and aquapark, plus The Clubhouse, featuring table games, a LEGO Family Zone, bumper cars, basketball and roller skating.
MSC World Asia will offer MSC Cruises' first all-American sports bar sailing in Europe, with screens, interactive games and an outdoor terrace.
The ship will feature seven MSC Yacht Club categories, including a new Royal Duplex Suite accommodating up to six guests, with access to exclusive lounges, restaurants and 24-hour butler service.
Dining options include more than 40 bars, lounges and restaurants, with six specialty concepts including Butcher's Cut, Kaito Sushi and Teppanyaki and Hola! Tacos & Cantina.
Additional amenities include the Aurea Spa, Technogym fitness center, seven pools, 13 whirlpool baths and more than 20 accommodation types.
