Disneyland’s 100 Years of Wonder celebration starts Jan. 27, 2023

Grab your mouse ears. 

Disney 100 Years of Wonder – the largest cross-company global celebration in the 100-year history of The Walt Disney Company – kicks off on Jan. 27, 2023, at Anaheim, CA-based Disney Land Resort and guests can expect a series of magical activations, events and offers.

The Happiest Place on Earth, for one, will be dressed in platinum-infused décor and Walt Disney’s original Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park will be adorned with platinum banners and bunting, a magnificent cabochon and more.

Two all-new nighttime spectaculars: “World of Color – One” at Disney California Adventure Park and “Wondrous Journeys” at Disneyland Park – both featuring new, original songs.

On select nights, “Wondrous Journeys” will go even bigger with the addition of fireworks in the sky above Disneyland. This will also feature the new song “It’s Wondrous.”

The new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction opens early on Jan. 27, before the reimagined Mickey’s Toontown reopens in spring 2023.

In time for spring, the “Magic Happens” parade will have its long-awaited return to Disneyland Park.

According to Disney Parks Blog, “Magic Happens” celebrates the “awe-inspiring moments of magic that are at the heart of so many Disney stories.”

More news and details for the Disney100 celebration at Disneyland Resort will be shared ahead of the Jan. 27 debut.

Note that theme park reservation availability for Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park is currently paused for dates beyond Jan. 8, 2023, and will resume for guests in the coming weeks.
