TICO sets Sept. 22 date for 2026 annual meeting, director election

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 5 p.m., with financial results, its annual report and the election of directors among the items on the agenda.

All TICO registrants and members of the public are invited to attend, although only members in good standing will be eligible to vote.

During the meeting, members will receive TICO’s financial statements for the previous fiscal year, along with the Auditor’s Report, and consider the organization’s Annual Report.

The agenda also includes appointing TICO’s auditors and authorizing its Board of Directors to determine their remuneration, as well as electing directors and addressing any other business that comes before the meeting.

Those planning to attend must register in advance. Registration closes at 5 p.m. on Sept. 18.

Materials for the meeting are available on TICO’s website and include the agenda, minutes from the Sept. 25, 2025 Annual Meeting, TICO’s Business Plan, Annual Report and audited financial statements for the fiscal period ended March 31, 2026.

Candidate biographies for the election of directors have also been posted.

Members who will not attend the meeting may submit written requests for proxies. The deadline for proxy submissions is also 5 p.m. on Sept. 18.
