ACTA is offering a limited-time 20 per cent savings on its Certified Travel Counsellor and Certified Travel Manager designation programs.

The promotion is available until June 30, 2026.

Travel professionals can enrol at acta.ca/ctc-ctm-enrollment.php and use promo code CERTSAVE20 to receive 20 per cent off.

ACTA says the CTC and CTM designations are recognized benchmarks within Canada’s travel industry, reflecting advanced knowledge, leadership and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

The association says benefits of earning a CTC or CTM designation include increased industry credibility, professional recognition, greater confidence in serving clients and managing complex travel needs, access to leadership development and strategic business skills, career growth and expanded professional networks.

ACTA also offers an Equivalency Conversion Program, which allows experienced travel professionals to obtain the CTC or CTM designation based on industry experience and qualifications.

More information is available under the Education section of ACTA’s website.

ACTA is also developing a new certification pathway for travel professionals with more than 10 years of industry experience. Details are expected in the coming weeks.

New for 2026, ACTA is introducing CTC and CTM designation pins.

The pins will be mailed to current CTC and CTM holders in the coming weeks and are intended to recognize certified travel professionals across Canada.

Recipients are encouraged to share a photo with their new pin and tag @ACTACanada_ on social media.

ACTA will also host an information session on June 23, 2026, featuring Monica Leduc, manager of education and certification, and Yacine Bimich, bilingual membership manager.

The session will cover the value of CTC and CTM certification, the certification process, eligibility requirements and how to prepare.

"Shortly after achieving my CTC designation, my business started to take off and I began achieving year-over-year double-digit growth," said Mike Allard, CTC.

"For any travel advisor serious about their business, the CTC program demonstrates a commitment to professionalism, ongoing training and excellence."
