Tommy Ryder promoted to regional director of sales, NA at Bedsonline

Tommy Ryder is starting spring on a high note with a promotion at work.

The long-time travel industry professional has been named regional director of sales for North America at Bedsonline HBX Group. Previously, he was regional head of sales for retail in the region.

Ryder started his new position on April 1, 2025.

In a statement to PAX, Ryder said his job is to “oversee a dream sales team,” covering the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, while developing client partnerships “and support growth together.”

What is he most excited about? “Being able to spend time coaching and supporting our sales account managers, leveraging their skill sets and spending time developing, enhancing and growing new opportunities with existing partners and new partnerships,” he said.

“But most importantly, listening to our customers – the travel agents, owners and managers – as to what they need from a supplier to support their business and customer.”

The news comes as Bedsonline launches the “The Luxurist,” a nnew premium platform designed exclusively for luxury travel pros.

Now available in Canada, the platform leverages innovative technology to connect travel advisors with global hotel properties via a seamless interface designed exclusively for luxury.

“We're elevating luxury travel by offering an unparalleled set of privileges that truly differentiate your service offering,” Ryder told PAX previously.

Bedsonline has also unveiled unique sports packages, starting with exclusive packages for Roland Garros French Open Tennis.

Other company updates Ryder noted are “big upgrades on transfers,” which will be completed and rolled out shortly to customers, a travel agent rewards program and HBX Group trading on the Spanish stock exchange.

“There’s so much more coming,” he said. “We’re always listening to our travel agents (our only customer).”
