Sandra Joaquim joins ACV as general manager of Ontario

Sandra Joaquim has joined Air Canada Vacations (ACV) as the company’s new general manager for Ontario, PAX has learned.

Joaquim is an experienced travel industry leader. She was recently director of supplier marketing at TRAVELSAVERS CANADA and, prior to that, she worked at redtag.ca in director-level roles in supplier relations and strategic partnerships. She also worked at Transat for eight years in marketing.

“With a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the importance of leadership driven by an advisor-focused mentality, Sandra is well-equipped to support and guide the Ontario region,” wrote Erminia Gallina, ACV’s director of sales, in a Facebook post to the travel advisor community.

“Her clear vision and commitment to understanding the daily needs of our teams will be invaluable as she works alongside the outstanding individuals in this region. Sandra has already proven to be a tremendous asset to the entire sales field."
