Ryan Fraser promoted to sr. marketing manager at Virtuoso Canada
Ryan Fraser has taken on a new position at Virtuoso as senior marketing manager for Canada, PAX has learned.
Fraser first joined the luxury consortium in 2023 as an events manager for the Canadian market, and “quickly made an impact with his expertise and dedication to excellence,” the company wrote in a memo that was distributed Thursday (March 20).
Before joining Virtuoso, Fraser held several marketing roles, including marketing and communications director and events marketing manager at several global organizations.
At Virtuoso, Fraser “consistently demonstrates our core values – notably collaborate to achieve the win-win-win,” the company said.
“A huge asset to the team”
Virtuoso’s marketing in Canada was previously directed by Anna Judek, who stepped down for her role in December to pursue a new career opportunity, becoming owner of Toronto-based Zebrano Travel, a luxury travel agency (and Virtuoso member) that serves the ultra-high-net-worth market.
In his new role, Halifax-based Fraser will support Virtuoso Canada’s global marketing initiatives while developing and executing regional strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive business objectives, and achieve regional success.
He reports to Sean Murphy, vice president, product marketing and strategy, and Una O'Leary, general manager for Canada.
"I'm excited to officially join the Virtuoso marketing team and embrace this incredible new opportunity,” Fraser said in a statement to PAX. “I have a deep belief in the products and programs Virtuoso has built and continues to innovate, and I look forward to contributing to their ongoing success in Canada."
O'Leary said the team is “thrilled” to see Fraser promoted into a “pivotal marketing role” at Virtuoso.
“His incredible drive and passion for the travel industry are a huge asset to the team,” O'Leary said.
