Regent promotes Amelie Dubois to director of sales & marketing for Canada

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has appointed Amelie Dubois as director of sales and marketing for Canada, effective immediately.
Dubois will lead the sales and marketing strategy for the Canadian market, deepening valuable relationships with travel advisors.
In her newly promoted role, Dubois will report directly to Jerod Evans, senior director, field sales and strategic partnerships.
Continuing a 15-year career in cruise, Dubois joined the Regent Family in 2019 as business development manager, Canada, embracing the world of ultra luxury, all-inclusive cruises "with a fervent dedication for the industry," reads a press release.
Jerod Evans, senior director, field sales and strategic partnerships at Regent called Dubois' promotion "well deserved."
“Amelie is a seasoned cruise professional with a wealth of experience and her passion for ultra luxury travel is second to none. I’m excited to see how Amelie continues to build the Regent brand in Canada and help our valued travel partners earn more," Evans stated.

“I am so excited to continue my cruising career with Regent and take on this new challenge," stated Dubois. “I’ve been fostering strong relationships in the region since I began my career in cruising 15 years ago and to step into the world of ultra luxury cruising with Regent has been an incredible experience. Regent excels at answering the growing demand for smaller, more spacious ships and with an unrivaled all-inclusive offer, there is huge opportunity for growth.”
Dubois’ appointment follows the retirement of Regent's former director of sales and marketing for Canada Beverley Vickers, whose 28-year career in cruise included 14 years with Regent.
"Following in the footsteps of Beverley is a big responsibility and she will be hugely missed within the industry. However, I am looking forward to seeing what Amelie achieves as she picks up the baton and becomes the go-to name for our valued travel advisors in Canada," Evans said.
