Natasha George named BDM for Ontario & Western Canada at Club Med
Club Med has appointed Natasha George as business development manager for Ontario and Western Canada.
In this role, she will focus on fostering strategic partnerships and driving business growth across Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia, collaborating closely with Tyler Mattioli to support the Ontario market.
George will officially step into the position on April 22, according to a press release. She will report to Jacinda Lowry, Club Med’s associate vice president of sales for Canada.
"I am thrilled to step into this role and continue strengthening Club Med’s presence in Ontario and beyond. My goal is to build meaningful relationships, create strategic partnerships, and ensure our mutual success in the market. I look forward to collaborating with our travel partners to drive growth and deliver unforgettable travel experiences,” said George, who has more than a decade of experience in hospitality and education.
Since joining Club Med in July 2022 as a travel experience designer, George has “excelled in upselling comprehensive travel experiences, managing complex reservations, and fostering strong client relationships through exceptional servicing,” said the company.
As well, her efforts have contributed to business growth in English Canada, “consistently enhancing the client experience.”
“Natasha’s background in sales, customer service and education has equipped her with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, which she applies to every aspect of her work. In her new role, this will be key for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional servicing that aligns with Club Med’s values and mission,” said Lowry.
George replaces Samantha Gillingham, who previously held the role. As PAX reported earlier, Gillingham has left Club Med to pursue a new challenge in Ontario’s cottage country, working as director of sales and business development at Jayne’s Luxury Rentals.
Lowry sincerely thanked Gillingham for all the work she has done in building the Club Med brand among travel partners.
“She has done a remarkable job, and we wish her the best in her new endeavors,” Lowry said.
