Kempinski announces new leadership team with CFO & CPO appointments

Kempinski Hotels has announced a new executive leadership team that will be tasked with developing and repositioning the luxury hotel group.
Under the stewardship of Barbara Muckermann, Kempinski’s Group CEO, two key senior leadership positions have been appointed.
Gordon Drake has been named chief financial officer at Kempinski. In his role, Drake will oversee the company’s financial operations, analysis and risk assessment.
He will also play a vital role in the company’s strategic initiatives moving forward and ensure the effective utilisation of financial resources to enhance profitability and drive growth.
Drake most recently held the position of CEO for The Doyle Collection, leading the company out of the pandemic.
Rasha Lababidi, meanwhile, has been appointed as Kempinski’s new chief product officer.
In this newly-created role, Lababidi, with over 25 years of executive marketing management, branding, guest experience, will lead product innovation, design and guest experience across Kempinski’s luxury global portfolio.
