Julie Curcio-Birch joins Marlin Travel Brantford as dir. of sales & development

Marlin Travel Brantford has hired travel industry professional Julie Curcio-Birch as its new director of sales and development.

Owner Denise Luciani shared the news via LinkedIn on Monday (June 23).

“With over 30 years of experience in the travel industry, Julie is a true powerhouse — known for her leadership, expertise, and infectious energy,” Luciani wrote. “She brings unmatched passion, professionalism, and heart to everything she does, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on our team.”

Curcio-Birch’s travel career has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences and roles.

She was a leisure travel manager for Flight Network from 2008-2011, after which she was named business development supervisor for Ontario and Atlantic Canada at Transat.

From 2013 to 2019, she was a regional corporate sales manager at Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), and then director of strategic partnerships at TRAVELSAVERS Canada. She also has experience as a mortgage specialist and realtor.
