Envoyage expands Canadian team, hires Omar Guechtal & Kory Sterling

Envoyage has expanded its Canadian team with the addition of two seasoned travel professionals: Omar Guechtal as member success manager and Kory Sterling as senior business development manager.

With more a decade of experience in the travel industry, Guechtal brings extensive expertise and a genuine passion for empowering travel professionals.

In his role as member success manager, Guechtal will focus on building strong relationships with network members, streamlining their operations, enhancing customer experiences, and uncovering new business opportunities.

Originally from Geneva, Switzerland, Guechtal’s love for travel began at a young age, exploring Europe and beyond before transitioning into the travel industry in Canada.

His career journey has seen him excel in various leadership roles at Flight Centre, where he was recognized for his dedication and commitment to excellence.

“Omar’s extensive experience and natural ability to connect with people make him a remarkable addition to the Envoyage team,” said Anita Emilio, vice president and general manager. “As a key member of our Canadian leadership team, his focus on helping advisors grow their businesses will be essential to strengthening our community and delivering even greater value to our network.”

Joining Guechtal is Kory Sterling, a tenured travel industry professional with more than 17 years of experience spanning tour operators, consortiums, and host agencies.

Sterling has held pivotal roles at renowned companies such as Trafalgar, Kensington Tours, Travel Leaders Network, Travel Edge, and Trevello Travel Group.

His expertise in business development, account management, and outside sales has “made him a dynamic force in the industry, with a strong focus on recruiting and supporting travel advisors,” said Envoyage.

Passionate about connecting with travel professionals and cultivating strong supplier partnerships, he brings a strategic mindset and a deep commitment to empowering advisors.

“Kory’s industry knowledge, extensive experience, and dedication to advisor success make him an outstanding addition to Envoyage,” said Emilio, who previously worked with Kory at Trafalgar. “His ability to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of our network aligns perfectly with our vision for the future.”
