Envoyage appoints Gail Banack as general manager, Canada
Envoyage has appointed Gail Banack as general manager of Envoyage Canada.
Banack brings years of leadership and business development experience, most recently as senior vice president at Travel Edge.
Recognized for building high-performing teams, driving growth, and strategic industry partnerships, she will lead Envoyage’s Canadian operations as the organization continues its global expansion.
Envoyage reported 17 per cent year-over-year growth in total transaction value (TTV) for FY25 and now includes a network of more than 3,600 agents worldwide.
Canada has been identified as a key growth market within the network’s broader strategy.
“Envoyage continues to grow globally, and Canada is critical to that momentum,” said Astrid Richardson, global general manager at Envoyage, in a press release. “Gail’s leadership and local insight will strengthen how we support Canadian advisors, helping them build profitable businesses through the Envoyage Ecosystem, which brings together the best of a host agency and a consortia model.”
“Canada’s independent travel sector has never been stronger,” added Chris Lynes, managing director, Flight Centre Travel Group Canada. “Our advisors are running sophisticated, high-performing businesses, and Envoyage is designed to enable them to scale by connecting expertise with strong supplier partnerships. Gail’s leadership will help further that vision.”
“Envoyage Canada is poised for strong growth, and I’m excited to lead that next chapter,” stated Banack. “Our advisors are some of the most capable and connected professionals in the industry. My focus will be on amplifying their success, deepening supplier partnerships, supporting business growth, and ensuring Envoyage continues to set the standard for the independent travel sector in Canada.”
