Dima Fahed & Niary Iskander step into new roles at Transat
Transat has announced two sales appointments aimed at strengthening its support for travel advisor partners across Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
Effective Aug. 3, Dima Fahed has been appointed manager of sales, Ontario and Atlantic Canada, while Niary Iskander has been named account manager for Eastern Ontario.
Fahed brings 19 years of experience with Transat, having held roles in the Customer Contact Centre, Groups Department and, most recently, as account manager for the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding markets. T
he company says she has built a strong reputation for her industry expertise, commitment to travel advisors and ability to develop lasting relationships with partners.
In her new role, Fahed will oversee Transat's sales efforts across Ontario and Atlantic Canada, working closely with travel agency partners and internal teams to support the company's commercial objectives and enhance the advisor experience.
"Dima's deep understanding of our business, her passion for serving our travel advisor partners, and her ability to build strong relationships make her exceptionally well positioned for this leadership role," said Julie Sareault, commercial director at Transat, in a press release.
"Her experience and collaborative approach will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our presence and support our partners across Ontario and Atlantic Canada."
The company has also promoted Niary Iskander to account manager, Eastern Ontario.
Iskander joined Transat in 2010, beginning her career in the Customer Contact Centre before moving into a series of commercial roles. Most recently, she served as Groups Sales Coordinator.
According to Transat, she has earned a reputation for professionalism, dedication and supporting travel advisors and industry partners.
In her new position, Iskander will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with travel agency partners throughout Eastern Ontario, helping advance the company's commercial objectives and strengthen its presence in the region.
"Niary's extensive knowledge of our business, her passion for customer service, and the strong relationships she has built within the travel advisor community make her a natural fit for this role," added Sareault.
"Her experience, dedication, and partner-first approach will be tremendous assets as we continue to support and grow our relationships across Eastern Ontario."
