Travel insurance now available through Cuba Cruise

Cuba Cruise by Celestyal Cruises is now offering the convenience of travel insurance for all Cuba Cruise passengers simultaneously with their booking.

Travel medical insurance is mandatory for all visitors to Cuba, by order of the Government of Cuba, and Cuba Cruise will now offer it at competitive rates.

The insurance is from Mondial Assistance Group and will be offered at an introductory rate of $5 CAD per person per day for eight days, or $40 CAD for the duration of the cruise. The insurance covers Cuba Cruise passengers both on board the Celestyal Crystal, on Cuban soil, in Cuban waters, and in Jamaica. The premium is non-refundable.

Mondial is one of the few insurance companies accredited by Asistur and is licensed to sell insurance policies to travellers to Cuba. Mondial Assistance is an insurance entity recognized in Cuba through its local correspondent, thus any traveller arriving in Cuba with insurance from Mondial will be in compliance with the new regulations.
