TAAG Angola Airlines has announced travel advisors can now claim commission on its flights.

As of March 27, IATA/BSP affiliated agents are able to claim 6 per cent commission on TAAG’s international flights and 2 per cent commission on its domestic flights (DT published fares plated on DT E-CIP).

“TAAG Angola is very delighted to offer this new commission level to the travel industry here in Canada,” said Karl Müller, Canada director at AirlinePros, which represents the airline. “It also serves as a recognition and reward related to the ongoing support DT has received from the travel community as we all exited the pandemic.

“This increased commission level also dovetails in a timely manner with the recent lifting of tourism visas to Angola by the country’s government to stimulate tourism.

“Angola is an exciting destination that has not really been explored or exploited by North American markets and is coming up to speed. Leisure and specialized adventure travel in the southern Africa region have experienced remarkable growth during the past two years and Angola is a potential destination waiting to be discovered.”
