More details revealed for PAX Virtual Travel Show

In addition to improving efficiency, the Internet allows professionals to enter an environment where information and communication are literally at one’s fingertips. In the spirit of promoting knowledge and increasing productivity for Canadian travel professionals, Logimonde Media unveils the PAX Virtual Travel Show.

This type of interactive, 3D virtual exhibition will be the first of its kind in the Canadian travel sector. Upon entering the show, visitors will have access to a wealth of information presented by various stakeholders. Two exhibition halls will be featured, one in French and one in English, to join the travel industry nationwide.

Marie-Klaude Gagnon, president/CEO, Logimonde Media"At Logimonde Media, we know how professionals appreciate participating in travel shows,” Marie-Klaude Gagnon, president and CEO of Logimonde Media said. “The PAX Virtual Travel Show will allow exhibitors and visitors to interact directly with other professionals and increase their knowledge without leaving their home or office.”

The three-day event, to be held Oct. 14-16, 2015, is free for visitors and will allow them to access the show at their own pace and according to their own schedule. Documents, such as brochures, will be available in digital format and can be saved for future reference. Visitors can also attend various presentations and interact with speakers in real time.

Exhibitors at the show can choose between five different virtual booth models. To become familiar with the platform prior to the event, exhibitors will receive a preparatory guide when they book their booth. To increase their visibility at the show, exhibitors can also customize their booths with their company’s branding.

"The PAX Virtual Travel Show will allow exhibitors to easily and effectively reach their target audience: travel agents," Wazna Azem, account manager and head of the PAX Virtual Travel Show said. “Companies can also sponsor the event, provided they move quickly, as spaces are limited.”Wazna Azem, account manager & head of the PAX Virtual Travel Show

Over the three days, some 200 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors are expected to attend the show.

"Based on the positive reception to this type of show in other sectors internationally, we are confident the event will be a success,” Gagnon added. “Three thousand guests from across Canada will provide exhibitors with immense exposure, and for visitors, the chance to meet with 200 exhibitors in a single location without having to travel is pure efficiency.”

Visitors can register for the event as of Sept. 1. In the meantime, visit www.virtualtravelshow.ca to get the latest news about the show.
