FAM report: Martour in Central America

Martour recently took a groups of travel agents from across Canada on a FAM trip to Nicaragua and El Salvador, exploring what the two Central American countries have to offer travellers.

Agents from Vancouver, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario were taken to visit the colonial cities of Granada and Suchitoto, as well as the beach destinations of San Juan del Sur in Nicaragua and Costa del sol in El Salvador.

A highlight was the visit to the Cerro Negro Volcano, where the agents trekked to the top of the crater to take part in 'volcano boarding,’ a highlight of the new tours that Martour will introduce in its 2016 Latin America brochure.
