Disney parks to receive Star Wars, Toy Story expansions

Disney is bringing two popular film series a little closer to travellers with the announcement of two Star Wars-themed additions at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, as well as a new Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The announcements, made by Disney CEO Bob Iger at last weekend’s D23 Expo, will see two 14-acre Star Wars expansions at both parks where guests can interact with characters and locations from the film series, along with an 11-acre Toy Story attraction at Walt Disney World Resort will provide guests with a similar experience.

No timeline has been set for the expansions.
