BermudAir marked a significant milestone on Sunday (Sept. 1) as it celebrated its first-year anniversary.

“It has been an incredible year of growth, learning, and achievement, and I’m immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished together,” wrote Adam Scott, founder and CEO of BermudAir, in a post on his LinkedIn page. “From day one, our mission has been to redefine air travel for Bermuda with a commitment to exceptional service, innovation, and sustainability.”

“I’m grateful to our dedicated team, whose passion and hard work have been the driving force behind our success. Your relentless pursuit of excellence has made every challenge an opportunity and every milestone a shared victory.”

The Bermudian airline, which launched in September 2023, entered the Canadian market last May with new flights between Bermuda's L.F. Wade International (BDA) and Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and Halifax Stanfield (YHZ) airports.

The routes were added to address the increase in demand for direct flights between Bermuda and the two Canadian cities, the airline revealed last March.

“To our valued passengers and partners, thank you for your unwavering support and trust in BermudAir. Your loyalty and feedback have been instrumental in shaping our journey, and we’re excited for what’s ahead,” wrote Scott. “As we look forward to the future, we remain committed to enhancing your travel experience and continuing to set new standards in the aviation industry. Here’s to many more years of soaring to new heights together!”
