Air Transat launches flights to Valencia, Spain from Montreal
Air Transat operated its first-ever flight connecting Montreal-Trudeau airport to Valencia, Spain last Friday (June 20).
This exclusive non-stop route, the only one from North America, will operate nearly year-round, allowing Canadians to enjoy Valencia's sun in both summer and winter. It complements Air Transat's existing service to three other Spanish cities: Barcelona, Madrid, and Malaga.
“The Montreal-Valencia non-stop flight further strengthening our leadership not only in Spain, but the transatlantic network,” stated Sebastian Ponce, chief revenue officer at Transat. “Furthermore, this destination choice perfectly aligns our strategy to diversify revenue and reduce seasonality of our operations. It's a testament to our expertise, and we couldn't be prouder to see the Air Transat star soaring towards Valencia.”
The non-stop route is complemented by à la carte hotels, as well as packages and tours.
Air Transat will operate the new route with the Airbus A321LR, an aircraft renowned for its efficiency.
