Air Transat has announced the annualization of its route between Montreal and Fort-de-France, Martinique. In addition to winter flights offered up to four times a week, a summer flight is added every Saturday, from June 7 to October 25, 2025.

“We continue to expand our range of South destinations offered year-round,” said Sebastian Ponce, Transat’s chief revenue officer, in a release. “Following the recent addition of Liberia, Costa Rica, to our summer destinations, we are now annualizing our route to Fort-de-France. This strengthens our presence in the Caribbean and optimizes the use of our fleet.”

The Honourable Bénédicte di Géronimo, President of the Martinique Tourism Authority added: "Air Transat's year-round service to Fort-de-France strengthens Martinique's ties with Quebec, solidifying Canada as our top international tourism market. This aligns with our diversification strategy, and we'll continue working closely with Air Transat to develop air links, especially during the low season, as demand is strong year-round. Our French-speaking Caribbean destination offers Quebec visitors much to enjoy, all year long."

Martinique is known for its stunning beaches, lush nature and rich cultural heritage. From the turquoise waters of Les Anses-d'Arlet to the hiking trails of Mount Pelée and the bustling markets of Fort-de-France, the island is full of treasures to discover in every season.
