Air France is responding to sustained demand by pushing forward with the expansion of its global network.

The airline’s long-haul capacity is up nine per cent, offering flights to 85 destinations, and this summer, North America will see even more of Air France as the carrier expands in the United States.

For the Cannes Film Festival, Air France will operate two special flights between Los Angeles (USA) and Nice (France), on Airbus A350-900s equipped with the latest travel cabins.

As for highlights from Air France's summer program in Canada, the peak summer season includes:

  • four daily flights to Paris from Montreal, departing at 5 p.m., 7 p.m., 9 p.m., and 11 p.m.
  • two daily flights to Paris from Toronto.

In addition:

  • The Ottawa-Paris route, launched with five flights per week in 2023, will become daily starting on June 17 with an Airbus A 350.
  • The Quebec-Paris direct flight returns for a third season.
  • The Vancouver-Paris flight will be daily between July 1 and Sept. 1.

Cabin makeover

Rollout of new travel cabins aboard Boeing 777-300ERs and Airbus A350-900s also continues. Air France’s ongoing refurbishment of its 777-300ERs and Airbus A350-900s with the latest long-haul cabins will continue throughout the summer.

After New York-JFK, New York-Newark, Washington DC, Boston, Houston, Rio de Janeiro, Bangkok, Dakar, Tokyo-Haneda, Hong Kong, Seoul-Incheon, Shanghai and Johannesburg, the new cabins will be introduced this summer on flights to Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Papeete, Mexico and Tokyo-Narita.

France & Europe

In addition to its usual flight schedule, Air France will operate 45 seasonal routes in France and Europe.

Three new routes will be introduced on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, to:

- Verona (Italy), up to three flights a week as of April 2

- Narvik-Lofoten (Norway), 1 flight every Saturday from June 15 to August 31

- Kalamata (Greece), 1 flight every Saturday from July 6 to August 31

Flights to Tromsø (Norway), until now available only in winter, will be extended through the summer, with up to two flights a week from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, on Airbus A319.

Meanwhile, Air France-KLM Group’s low-cost subsidiary, Transavia France, will fly to 116 destinations in 33 countries via 206 routes.
