Air Canada adds new U.S. routes, increases transborder capacity for summer 2026
Air Canada will add new flights to the United States and increase capacity on select cross-border routes for summer 2026.
Tickets are now available through Air Canada channels and travel agents.
“Air Canada is launching services to San Antonio and linking Columbus and Cleveland to Montreal to support travel between these destinations and points across our global network. We are also boosting capacity on other markets to provide additional travel options for customers on both sides of the Atlantic,” said Mark Galardo, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, and president, Air Canada Cargo.

According to the airline, transborder capacity will increase by 15 per cent in summer 2026 compared to summer 2025.
While this level matches the carrier’s 2024 transborder schedule, the adjustment is intended to provide more options for travellers connecting between Air Canada’s international network and these U.S. markets.
