VIDEO: What’s selling in luxury? Úna O'Leary talks trends at Virtuoso Travel Week in Vegas
The best and next of luxury travel was in the spotlight in Las Vegas recently at Virtuoso Travel Week, an annual mega-event, dubbed “The Fashion Week of Travel,” now in its 36th year.
Taking place August 10-16 at the Bellagio, ARIA, Vdara and Cosmopolitan hotels, this year’s extravaganza welcomed more than 4,700 attendees – a mix of travel advisors and representatives from hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, DMCs and tourism – from 97 countries, including Canada.
PAX, exclusively, was invited to cover the fun and informative (and glam) conference, which also offers key insights into the latest trends that are shaping the travel industry today.
Here, PAX’s Michael Pihach catches up with Úna O'Leary, general manager for Canada at Virtuoso, in Las Vegas to chat about post-COVID demand, luxury travel trends and Virtuoso’s future plans for Canada.
