TTAND's top performers take to Croatia

The Travel Agent Next Door chartered its own ship from Katrina Lines for a cruise of the Croatian coast last week for its Top Performers trip.

There were 14 agents along with their guests travelling with founder, Flemming Friisdahl and Rhonda Stanley, VP, talent development. 

Suppliers who joined the group were Lisa Connell from Royal Caribbean International; Stephanie Bishop from Globus; Frank DeMarinis from TravelBrands; Sandra Gardiner from AmaWaterways; and Brenda Yeomans from Celebrity Cruises.

"It was so wonderful to spend time with TTAND’s top agents. For me, I got to know the people so much more and what drives their businesses and it gave me a better idea of how to help them grow their business with AmaWaterways," Sandra Gardiner, director of national accounts for Canada at AmaWaterways River Cruises. Each agent and their guest had a unique story and their needs are all different as are their clientele and how they approach their markets. It was fun to brainstorm and come up with some great strategies together in a most amazing environment. They are truly a lovely and professional groups of entrepreneurs."

The cruise was private and the group was able to swim every day while visiting the picturesque towns and villages along the beautiful Croatian coast from Split to Dubrovnik. 

In order to qualify for the TTAND Top Performers trip, agents needed to reach a certain amount of paid commission within a 12 month period.
