TTAND names Seabourn to approved supplier status
The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) has named luxury cruise line Seabourn to approved supplier status for the host agency.
“We are seeing an increased demand for luxury and expedition product and Seabourn definitely belongs in our luxury portfolio,” said Flemming Friisdahl, founder, The Travel Agent Next Door. “Our agents have been asking for more cruise companies of this calibre of cruise line and we are very pleased to add Seabourn to our offering.”
Steve Smotrys, vice-president, global sales & trade relations at Seabourn said the company is “thrilled to be able to strengthen our partnership with The Travel Agent Next Door as a preferred supplier.”
“We have come to recognize the opportunity to grow awareness for our brand across the Canadian marketplace, and of the increased desire for Ultra-Luxury Ocean & Expedition cruise travel“ said Smotrys “Knowing the strong presence that The Travel Agent Next Door and their agents spread from coast to coast, we at Seabourn see this as a perfect partnership.”
“We are excited to see this relationship achieve new plateaus in the awareness of Ultra-Luxury Ocean & Expedition cruise travel in Canada,” he said.
Smotrys also said The Travel Agent Next Door will be seen as a key account with Seabourn and will be supported by recently added Senior Manager of National & Strategic Accounts, Shane Buksh.
“We are very excited to be working with Shane again, as he has had a long-standing relationship with The Travel Agent Next Door. We believe with his support we will be able to grow our Seabourn business significantly,” said Friisdahl.
