Annabelle Seow, formerly of Merit Travel and Travel Cuts, has joined The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) as director of marketing.

“I am sure I am like many people who have recognized we need to learn to live with COVID and any new variants. The good news is we are learning how to live with it and we are seeing consumers starting to travel in great numbers. March sales were the best of the company’s history and we could not be happier for our partner agents. But more importantly March was the highest payout of commission in the company history and that is great news to agents," said Flemming Friisdahl, TTAND founder.

He added: “With this in mind, we are very excited to announce that Annabelle Seow has joined TTAND as Director of Marketing, bringing years of travel experience and marketing to the team.”

TTAND adds new support staff

“As TTAND continues to be innovative, I am also happy to announce we have added two new support staff located in Alberta to even better service our partner agents located in Western Canada,” added Friisdahl.

Pamela Shaw has been in the industry for 15 years as a travel consultant in both Edmonton & Red Deer Alberta.

Most recently, she was an associate agent with TTAND, but during the pandemic took a step back. Pamela is excited to be back in the world of travel fulltime, and expand her travel expertise from a support perspective.

Rebecca Mueller attended the travel program at MacEwan University in Edmonton in 2013. She was a travel agent with Flight Centre in the Edmonton area. Once the pandemic hit, she was forced to change paths.

Mueller joins TTAND in Experienced Agent Support and is very excited to be back in the travel industry.

Alaina Salita is brand new to the travel industry but brings with her great experience in Project Management.

She previously worked for Nikoleta & Associates where she managed the student onboarding program. As Travel Agent Co-ordinator, she will be responsible for onboarding of new travel agent partners.

“We are very happy that Pamela and Rebecca have joined TTAND and they will be a great addition to the Agent Support team. And we welcome Alaina to the position of Travel Agent Co-ordinator, supporting the onboarding of new partner agents to TTAND,” said Friisdahl.
