TRAVELSAVERS Canada advisors explore Türkiye’s cultural & luxury side

TRAVELSAVERS Canada recently hosted an exciting FAM trip to Türkiye that gave advisors first-hand experience to help them sell the destination.

Hosted by Türkiye expert New Faces Travel, the trip from November 15-21 focused on helping advisors support their clients who are seeking exotic, culturally-rich destinations, according to a press release. 

The group experienced a seven-day, customized itinerary combining the best of land and sea.

New Faces Travel is part of the TRAVELSAVERS Canada’s exclusive “OnLocation program,” a collection of 50 destination management companies in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide.

The trip combined historic sightseeing, gastronomic experiences, engaging excursions, shopping and Türkiye’s stunning scenery.

Highlights included private tours of the Hippodrome, a stadium of ancient Byzantium; the Blue Mosque, one of the world’s most important places of worship; and Topkapi Palace, the old centre of the Ottoman government from where the Turks ruled most of Europe and the Middle East.

With authentic, bucket-list journeys trending for 2025, according to a recent TRAVELSAVERS survey, advisors all kinds of memorable experiences. This included a five-star lunch at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus; scenic hot air balloon ride; a private cruise along the Bosphorus; and the Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Cappadocia.
