TICO charges three unregistered agents
TICO has charged three Toronto-based agents for operating without registration under the province’s Travel Industry Act.
Alicia Kielek was charged with three counts of operating as a travel agent without registration; this marks the fourth time she has been charged under the Act, for a total of 29 counts to date.
In a separate incident, Marek Paszyn and Aquarius Scuba Diving Centre Inc. (Aquarius) were each charged with one count of operating as a travel agent without registration.
TICO also charged Jinling Wei and Herui Travel and Tours Corp. with one count each of operating as a travel agent without registration. Wei and Herui Travel were previously convicted on the same charge in November 2012.
Kielek, Paszyn and Wei will each have their first court appearances on Nov. 19 in Toronto.
