TDC joins partners at The Grand Hotel at Moon Palace

A delegation of 250 Transat Distribution (TDC) owners and managers travelled to The Grand Hotel at Moon Palace Resort and Conference Center, Cancun along with their preferred partners and a roster of key note speakers to learn new techniques in travel management leadership.

“Our mission is the financial health of our network. This forum delved into products and strategies designed to meet the evolving consumer demands with a focus on agency profitability,” said Joe Adamo, president, TDC.

“To that end, we bring together leaders from our industry and external speakers who can add unique perspectives and insights. The members also shared best practices, one of our most appreciated sessions.”

Bruce Poon Tip opened the conference with a keynote presentation addressing tourism sustainability, consumer trends and the impact of travel on the global economy. The conference was closed by Nicolas Duvernois, president and founder, PUR Vodka, with a personal account of his own entrepreneurial path.

“TDC believes in ‘preferred’ partners. It’s not just a label – we commit to having win-win relationships,” said Susan Bowan, vice president marketing and industry relations, reflecting on the presence of more than 40 experts from 27 travel partners.

A celebration was held to recognize the ongoing commitment made by partners to TDC, with awards, prizes and a standing ovation taking place at the Dreams Playa Mujeres. TDC members with the highest support for preferred partners were also recognized with special awards:
