TDC celebrates excellence with advisor getaway to Morocco
Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) recently recognized the success of approximately 60 top-performing travel advisors from across the country.
These standout advisors—from Transat Travel/Voyages Transat agencies, the agent@home program, and TDC’s network of franchise and affiliate agencies across Canada—were rewarded with a seven-night escape to Club Med La Palmeraie in Marrakech, Morocco.
The exclusive trip, held in partnership with Transat, took place from May 31 to June 8, 2025.
“The advisors in the TDC network are our eyes and ears for travelers across the country," stated Karine Gagnon, general manager of TDC, in a press release. "These passionate professionals inspire their customers every day, and this Bravo reward trip is our way of recognizing their tremendous value and saying thank you. These exceptional men and women had to qualify for this dream trip, and it's thanks to their outstanding combined sales of Air Canada Vacations and WestJet Vacations that they earned their spot."

Anthony Mormina, senior director of sales and operations, joined participants on the trip, alongside two TDC regional managers, Dan Prior and Sandra Ferlatte.
“It's a real privilege to be able to share activities and moments of relaxation with the advisors on my team. And since these people come from our agencies across the country, it's even more valuable to create these rare opportunities to connect and enjoy the activity that unites us all: travel,” Mormina stated.
Bravo
While the Bravo trip is primarily designed for advisors from Transat Travel/Voyages Transat agencies, TDC also extends this exclusive opportunity to its franchise and affiliate partners.
Each year, a limited number of spots are set aside for their teams to participate at cost. Franchise and affiliate owners are encouraged to use the incentive program to recognize and reward advisors who go above and beyond in meeting their sales goals.

More than just a reward, the trip offers a one-of-a-kind experience focused on recognition, inspiration, and meaningful connection.
It’s can be an excellent way for advisors across the TDC network to celebrate their achievements, build morale, and strengthen their ties to the broader community.
After arriving in Marrakech aboard Air Transat, the winners were immediately surrounded by the rich culture and energy of Morocco.
With enjoyment as the focus, the advisors kicked off their stay by taking full advantage of the stunning surroundings and extensive amenities offered by TDC’s partner, Club Med.

To enhance the experience, a variety of excursions were available, including a tuk-tuk tour through the bustling streets of Marrakech, shopping adventures in the traditional souk, a camel ride across the Agafay Desert, a hands-on Moroccan cooking class, and a scenic trip to the Ouzoud waterfalls—among many other highlights.
To honour the achievements of the participating advisors, TDC hosted the Bravo Recognition Evening—a memorable celebration held at the enchanting Jad Mahal Palace, where Moroccan culture took centre stage.
Earlier that day, an awards ceremony at Club Med La Palmeraie formally acknowledged their accomplishments.
The evening provided a moment for Gagnon and Mormina to personally congratulate the advisors for their exceptional dedication and performance over the past year.

“This trip is our gift to you, our way of saying bravo and thank you for your exemplary dedication, and this evening is a celebration of each of you individually and collectively,” Gagnon said.
TDC says its 2026 recognition trip for travel advisors will be to the Algarve, Portugal for a seven-night, all-inclusive stay at the brand new 5-star Tivoli Alvor hotel complex.
“TDC would not be able to offer such memorable trips without the participation of its valued partners. And as we are an integral part of Transat, the tour operator's contribution is essential in creating these memorable trips,” said Gagnon.
