Sunwing Vacations launches new Flynancial Universe campaign highlighting travel advisors
Sunwing Vacations has launched its 2025-2026 winter campaign, continuing its focus on the role of travel advisors.
The new Flynancial Universe™ initiative builds on last year’s Flynancial Advisor campaign by featuring real Canadian advisors in this year’s creative.
"Travel advisors are central to our success, and we don't just say that – we act on it," said Deana Murphy, vice president of trade sales and business development at Sunwing Vacations.
"This campaign further demonstrates our appreciation of the travel advisors that work with us. We're putting real advisors in our advertising and we're building campaigns that reflect their expertise and the value they bring to their clients."
This year’s campaign introduces Val, a bilingual Flynancial Advisor character from Trois-Rivières, Quebec, designed to represent the way advisors work with clients.
The campaign’s cinema-style commercials, featuring both professional actors and real travel advisors, emphasize the knowledge and service advisors provide.
“Filming the Sunwing Vacations commercial was such a fun and memorable experience, thanks to the supportive team I had the pleasure of working with. This was my first time being involved in a project like this, and it was especially cool that a few real [travel] agents were featured—it made the campaign feel so genuine,” said Yulia Borg from TravelOnly.
Roman Maievych of Top Travel Agency, who was also part of the production, added: “Being part of a Sunwing commercial as a real travel advisor is such a cool and unique experience. I’m proud to be one of the few chosen, and with my years of expertise helping clients plan their trips, I can say Sunwing [Vacations] truly delivers an outstanding product that makes vacations easy and memorable.”
The Value Lab, a futuristic command centre used in the campaign’s creative, symbolizes how advisors research, compare and customize trips for clients.
According to Sunwing, the lab concept is meant to reflect both the work of advisors and the brand’s positioning around value.
For winter 2025-26, Sunwing’s schedule expands with new destinations such as Samaná, Dominican Republic, and Managua, Nicaragua, along with new routes including Thunder Bay–Punta Cana.
Additional resorts joining the program include Eurostars Grand Cayaoa and Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana.
The company says these expanded offerings create more options for advisors to sell across both value-focused and higher-end segments.
