New appointments at TravelOnly

TravelOnly has appointed Emily Crane as director of sales and marketing and Sinthia Gawlak as vice president of associate relations and business development.

Both Crane and Gawlak will start in their new roles at the end of the month, TravelOnly said.

Crane brings 15 years of industry experience and started out her travel industry career with Flight Centre as a retail agent. She was manager of administration and operations then business leader of Flight Centre Associates, Flight Centre's home-based division, for over five years. In her most recent role, Crane was vice president of operations and systems at the bespoke travel company Scotia Inspire and Black Tie Travel.

Gawlak brings extensive experience with CIBC, where she held a number of senior roles in retail, technology, operations, and finance; she was the SVP of sales and development for TravelOnly from 2005 to 2009, before returning to CIBC. Gawlak also co-chaired CIBC’s Philanthropy Committee supporting United Way, Run for the Cure, Movember and JDRF. She has been a long-time volunteer narrator for AMI-audio, an audio reading service available online and broadcast across Canada for people who are blind or partially sighted.
