Kenmore Travel fined
Consumer Protection BC has issued administrative penalties totaling $1,500 and a compliance order against Kenmore Travel Group Inc., a licensed travel agency based in Vancouver BC, for violating BC’s Travel Industry Regulation (TIR).
The charges include the following:

Failing to ensure receipts for travel services contain the address of the person making the payment;

Failing to ensure receipts for travel services contain the conditions for reimbursement of any money received;

Failing to ensure receipts for travel services contain the business’ licence number; and
- Failing to ensure the company business cards contain the business’ licence number.
Kenmore Travel Group Inc. has been ordered to reimburse Consumer Protection BC partial costs for the inspection in the amount of $750 within 30 days.
