Global Journeys expands to North America, opens Toronto office
Australia-based OTA Global Journeys has expanded its operations to North America with the opening of a new Toronto office.
In a press release, the agency that specializes in multi-day travel calls this a strategic move, as well as a “significant milestone” in the company's global growth trajectory.
The new Toronto office is located downtown at 144 Front St W, Suite 460.
This also involves a leadership Rrelocation: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Michael Van Den Hout has relocated from Australia to Canada to spearhead the expansion.
Travel Executive and Acceleration Team CEO, Dan Christian, is providing on-ground support to ensure a seamless transition and a successful roll-out as well.
The company says it is preparing to hire a team of travel advisors and forge new partnerships with existing suppliers in the region.
"We've always wanted to expand globally, and given our tech platform and demand for multi-day land tours, ocean cruises and river cruises, we're in an exciting position to do so," stated Campbell Harris, Global Journeys CEO. "The new office in Toronto is a pivotal step in our mission to bring unparalleled travel experiences to more travellers around the world."
