FCTG expands cruise footprint with Iglu acquisition
Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has acquired Iglu, a leading UK-based online cruise agency and operator of Iglu Cruise, Planet Cruise and Iglu Ski.
The acquisition "significantly" expands FCTG’s global cruise footprint, the company said in a press release.
With Iglu on board, FCTG says its cruise-related TTV is expected to “nearly double” to more than $2 billion annually by FY26.
Iglu’s digital platform will integrate across FCTG’s leisure businesses, creating a unified, omnichannel cruise experience and supporting future expansion into key international growth markets, the company said.
“This acquisition delivers immediate shareholder value through EPS accretion and is a game-changer in terms of the future opportunities it unlocks in the global cruise market,” said Graham “Skroo” Turner, managing director of FCTG, in a statement. “Iglu brings a strong brand and a scalable technology platform that aligns with FCTG’s strategic objectives.”
Iglu will continue to operate under its current leadership in the UK.
