The insights centre on key and evolving trends shaping the 2024 landscape for luxury stays, villa rentals, and unique lodging options.

Rise in boutique hotels

There's a noticeable trend towards upgrading to suites and junior suites.
Villas continue to emerge as a popular choice for luxury and group travel, offering a sense of exclusivity and personalized service, as noted by F1S travel advisors Jay Rabinovich and Erica Tu.
Multigenerational families and groups of friends are opting for these accommodations, seeking spacious and communal living spaces for their travels.
Other trends
F1S travel advisor insights also pinpointed emerging trends such as clients' preference for offerings from preferred partners of First in Service thanks to the exclusive amenities and benefits they can enjoy, the agency says.
Proactive planning has become essential to secure favourable rates for European trips amidst rising costs.
Additionally, there is a growing demand for pet-friendly accommodations and those with kitchen facilities, agents say.
