Envoyage recently wrapped its Worldwide 2024 event in Santiago, Chile.

Taking place from May 1 to 4, it hosted 300 travel professionals from the U.S., Canada, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

“Every journey is a story waiting to be told, and here is ours,” said Danielle Galloway, global managing director of Envoyage, of the event’s essence.

Its theme, “For Every Journey,” was woven through the event program, bringing the brand’s tagline to the forefront and delivering content designed to challenge and inspire travel entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey as business owners.

Panels on navigating change, Envoyage members’ successful journeys in the travel business and the impacts of over-tourism, as well as workshops on wellness and cross-cultural business insights, were held over the three days.

Global brand strategist Nicole Hatherly spoke to attendees about the importance and impact of defining one’s personal brand and applying human intelligence in business, while Dr. Craig Challen recounted the harrowing cave rescue mission he navigated in Thailand, saving a team of young teen soccer players.

“To sum up my experience at Envoyage WorldWide2024 in Santiago, Chile in one word: Amazing!” said Envoyage advisor Peggy Gock. “This inaugural conference was one to remember. We were able to learn from each other and share our successes and challenges. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to attend the conference, and I can’t wait to see where it will be next year!"

Platinum partners TTC Tour Brands, Hoteles Xcaret, AMA Waterways, Air New Zealand, and Cover-More, as well as another 45 partners from around the world connected with Envoyage members through private appointments, free-flowing expo time and formal presentations to educate and support the many journeys Envoyage members curate for clientele around the world.

“Worldwide 2024 was an unparalleled conference, brimming with energy, engagement, and enthusiasm,” said Matt Djorsev, Air Canada’s manager of global accounts. “AC and ACV were honoured to partake, relishing the chance to connect with numerous advisors and agency owners, gain insights into their businesses and explore avenues for collaboration. We extend our gratitude to Envoyage for being an exceptional partner throughout, propelling us forward together. With such partnerships and the momentum gained, we eagerly anticipate a bright future ahead for all involved. Looking ahead, we're excited to see where Worldwide 2025 will take us!"

Worldwide 2024 evening celebrations started a welcome cocktail party at the Intercontinental Santiago.

The “Santiago Sparkle” themed gala dinner was held at the breathtaking Botánico Centro de Eventos, overlooking the city of Santiago and the Andes.

Thirteen outstanding members were honoured at Worldwide’s new award program, The Envys, which celebrates the group’s top achievers and standout members.

On the final night, guests partied at Le Virgen in Santiago’s Bellavista neighbourhood, a party complete with tarot card readers, magicians and caricature artists.

The Worldwide 2024 finale was a live auction and prize raffle, where attendees could bid on an impressive array of prizes donated by event sponsors using their “Worldwide dollars,” a unique currency bestowed upon members throughout the event for exceptional engagement and participation.

“For me personally, attending the Envoyage conference in Santiago was an enriching experience, where fellow agents and suppliers gathered to explore new horizons, exchange ideas and foster meaningful connections,” said Joanne Roberts, network member and 2023 Icon. “From sharing new product offers, to meeting new suppliers I never knew existed, to emerging trends, to fostering partnerships, every moment was an opportunity for growth and collaboration in shaping the future of travel.”

Anita Emilio, Envoyage Canada’s vice-president and general manager, expressed immense satisfaction with the positive feedback received from suppliers and advisors.

“Worldwide stands out in the independent sector as a truly unique event, uniting travel entrepreneurs and suppliers worldwide to collaborate, network and shape the future of travel,” she said. “The overwhelming response to Worldwide reaffirms our commitment to driving excellence in the travel industry, fostering lasting partnerships and creating unparalleled opportunities for our network members and supplier partners.”
