Ensemble names new business development director for Western Canada

Ensemble Travel Group has appointed Jerome Jimeno to the position of business development director, Western Region.

Jimeno’s territory includes the provinces of Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Alberta, and Northwest Territories. He is based out of Richmond, BC.

“The role of the business development director is to help our members grow their business within the industry and our organization. They are an ‘extended arm’ to an agency’s management team,” said Ensemble’s Don Kennedy, vice-president, business development. “Jerome’s business acumen will provide members with clear and forward thinking of where they can shift their business and maximize their overall growth.”

Jimeno’s industry experience includes the position of sales account executive, Western Canada, for Philippine Airlines, where he was involved in the launch of the Vancouver to New York market. In this capacity, he was instrumental in growing the airline’s business with non-IATA agencies and building upon these new contacts. In addition, he developed strong customer relations skills while working for Rogers Communications and Canadian Office Supplies in Western Canada.
