CWT recognizes the Best of the Best

Carlson Wagonlit Travel recently announced its annual awards, recognizing regional leaders in the travel industry.

The awards recognized efforts in preferred supplier growth, membership focus and ambassadorship, as well as the coveted “Best of the Best” award, which included three national awards: CWT Associate of the Year, CWT Leisure and Local Business Branch of the Year, and the CWT Bravo Award.

This year’s recipients of the “Best of the Best” were:

• Associate of the Year: Stephanie Branchflower-Dew, owner of CWT/Clarke-Way Travel in Toronto, Ontario
• CWT LLB Branch of the Year: Linda McGregor, Branch Manager of Carlson Wagonlit Travel in Kelowna, British Columbia
• CWT Bravo Award: Kim Cross, National Manager of CWT Concierge

“With so many inspiring owners and managers across the country, we are so pleased to honor Stephanie, Linda and Kim for their incredible work,” said Louise Gardiner, CWT Senior Director Associate Program Canada. “These three have taken customer service and proactive leadership to the next level.”

The awards were part of the annual CWT Training Academies for owners, managers and agents in the travel industry. The three-city, cross-Canada tour began in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, on Sept. 30, continued in Toronto on Oct. 14, and concluded in Vancouver on Oct. 28. The series was themed “Your World of Possibilities” to emphasize the growing opportunity for travel in the Canadian marketplace.

“We chose this theme because we are passionate about travel, and our role is to inspire our customers through storytelling about their world of possibilities so they can achieve their dream vacations,” Gardiner said.
