Air Canada Vacations and Intrepid Travel have teamed up to bring the adventure operator’s small-group trips to the vacation company’s booking platform and travel advisor network. Starting this week, eight Intrepid itineraries in Canada will be available through Air Canada Vacations, giving travellers the ability to combine an Intrepid adventure with flights in a single booking.

More than 170 travel advisors stepped aboard Holland America Line’s Volendam ship this summer as part of a multi-port initiative led by Aaron Crawford, the cruise line’s business development manager for Canada. WestJet’s pilots are preparing to negotiate their third collective agreement. ALPA has notified management of its intention to open talks, calling for improvements to career growth, working conditions, scheduling and safety. The union says it wants to work with WestJet to bring stability to employees, the airline and its customers.

SeaDream Yacht Club has unveiled SeaDream III, its first fleet addition in 25 years. Debuting in July 2029, the yacht will carry around 200 guests, with Canada and Great Lakes itineraries planned for 2030. Reservations are open for inaugural sailings, with a 180-night world voyage scheduled to depart in 2031.
