WestJet cabin crew plan informational pickets in Toronto & Calgary

With a potential job action on the horizon, the union representing some 4,600 flight attendants at WestJet and WestJet Encore have announced a “Day Of Action” in pursuit of a fair agreement. EU promises action after border checks trigger airport delays

The European Union will step up efforts to address problems with its new border control system after airports and airlines warned the rollout was causing travel delays, according to a letter from migration chief Magnus Brunner obtained by AFP. The move follows industry concerns that the new Entry/Exit System (EES) has led to waits of up to five hours, raising fears of summer travel delays.

Türkiye bars gay cruise from port over “morals” concern; Patti LuPone "furious"

Turkish authorities have denied entry to a cruise ship carrying early 2,000 predominantly gay men, citing concerns that the voyage conflicts with the country's moral and social values. The 10-day Mediterranean cruise, organized by Atlantis Events, operated by Virgin Voyages, is scheduled to depart Athens on July 5.
