Pax Global Media Inc., which publishes PAX News, is announcing that its president and founder, Uguette Chiasson, has retired after 37 years in the travel industry and 42 years as owner of various publishing houses. To lead PAX into its next chapter, Uguette’s daughter, Marie Klaude Gagnon, has been named president and general manager of the company.

Air Canada is welcoming positive ratification vote by its pilots on Thursday (Oct. 10), which also doused strike fears. "We look forward to working with our pilots under this renewed partnership," said Michael Rousseau, president and chief executive of Air Canada. Next up to the bargaining table will be Air Canada's flight attendants, who have a contract up for negotiation next year.

Flair Airlines has unveiled its summer 2025 schedule, bringing increased flight frequency on key domestic routes.
