New guide helps Canadian snowbirds navigate U.S. registration requirements
Snowbird Advisor, a one-stop resource for Snowbirds, has released a guide to help Canadians visiting the U.S. for 30 days or more navigate the new registration requirements that came into effect on April 11, 2025.
“Many snowbirds have expressed anxiety and confusion about whether the new rules apply to them and what they need to do to comply,” said Stephen Fine, president of Snowbird Advisor, in a press release. “Unfortunately, their anxiety and confusion has been further compounded by the overwhelming amount of inaccurate and conflicting information being circulating online and by word-of-mouth. Our goal is to combat this misinformation by providing Canadian travellers with a clear, detailed, accurate resource that explains the new registration rules.”
