Utah reappoints Canuckiwi to lead strategy in Canada

The Utah Office of Tourism (UOT) has reappointed Canuckiwi Consulting to spearhead its strategic initiatives in Canada for the next five years, covering all consumer marketing, travel trade, public relations, and social media.

“Canada is the top international market for tourism to Utah,” says Natalie Randall, managing director, Utah Office of Tourism and Film Commission, in a press release. “Canuckiwi’s proven track record of representing the UOT over the past ten years, their deep understanding of the Canadian travel landscape and their extensive contacts in-market make them the ideal partner to elevate Utah’s profile and attract more visitors from Canada.”

“We are incredibly excited to collaborate with the Utah Office of Tourism to showcase Utah’s unparalleled natural landscapes and diverse experiences to Canadian travellers and propel the destination to a top 10 must do in the USA,” added Corey Marshall, principal of Canuckiwi. “While many travellers and travel advisors associate Utah with its iconic Mighty 5 national parks and The Greatest Snow on Earth, there’s so much more to discover in the state.”

 The UOT, in collaboration with Canuckiwi, will continue to work hand-in-hand with the travel trade across Canada through the Utah Specialist Academy and on targeted campaigns designed to educate and inspire Canadian travellers. 

In 2024, the UOT is celebrating 100 Years of Film in Utah and the introduction of a Utah Film Trail coming this summer, the announcement of the NHL’s newest team, the Utah Hockey Club, with their first pre-season home opener scheduled for Sept. 23 in Salt Lake City, and the soft opening of Park City’s Deer Valley East Village, including the new Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, for the Winter 2024-25 ski season.
