Three Canadian travel advisors – who were winners in the Sell Your Way to the USA incentive campaign – have returned from a prize FAM trip hosted by Travel Nevada from May 11 - May 17, 2026.

The FAM participants included: Nicole Braga, Direct Travel, Toronto, ON; Maria Karagioules, Voyage International ITA, Montreal, QC; and Callan Thompson, Sportscorp Travel, Toronto, ON

“Canada remains one of Nevada’s most important international markets, and programs like Sell Your Way to the USA play a key role in strengthening our relationships with the travel trade,” said Nicole Orsua, chief industry development officer at Travel Nevada in a press release.

"This itinerary highlighted the many sides of Nevada, from world-class entertainment and iconic road trips to breathtaking outdoor adventures and welcoming small-town communities."

Travel Nevada has curated 10 road trips across the state designed to inspire visitors to ‘Get a Little Out There.’

Throughout the FAM, participants experienced this spirit firsthand, journeying from the bright lights of Las Vegas through scenic byways, historic mining towns and some of Nevada’s most iconic outdoor landscapes.

Beginning in Las Vegas, participants explored the city beyond the Strip with a Taste Buzz food tour, Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson ONE, and an after-dark visit to the Neon Museum, showcasing the city’s vibrant arts, entertainment and cultural scene.

The group then journeyed through Cathedral Gorge State Park, Pioche, Ely and Great Basin National Park, where they explored ancient bristlecone pine forests, scenic drives and some of Nevada’s most breathtaking natural landscapes.

Travelling along stretches of Highway 50 — “The Loneliest Road in America” — the group experienced Nevada’s iconic road trip culture firsthand while discovering remote desert scenery and classic rural communities including Fallon.

Continuing west, they arrived in Lake Tahoe and Incline Village for a two-night stay at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino.

Hosted in partnership with Lake Tahoe Travel, the group experienced the region’s alpine scenery and outdoor adventures, including kayaking on the crystal-clear lake, visiting Sand Harbor State Park and exploring Olympic Valley — even experiencing snow and sunshine in the same day

The journey later continued through Tonopah, Rhyolite, the Goldwell Open Air Museum and Death Valley National Park, where participants explored Nevada’s rich mining history, ghost towns and unique arts and culture before concluding with a glamping stay at Tarantula Ranch in Amargosa Valley.

Throughout the itinerary, the winners experienced firsthand how visitors can truly “Get a Little Out There” in Nevada — combining world-class entertainment, epic road trips and authentic off-the-beaten-path experiences all within one destination.
