Tahiti Tourisme signs with Reps4Rent for dedicated trade associate for Canada

Tahiti Tourisme North America has signed a deal with Reps4Rent for a dedicated Canadian trade and marketing associate for Canada. 

Gail Lea Scullion is the primary contact for The Islands of Tahiti for Canadian travel advisors, effective immediately.

“Tahiti Tourisme North America was in need of a qualified sales professional that could service the Canadian Travel Agency community in both official languages” said Dianne Jackson, Reps4Rent's Founder. “They reached out to us hoping we could find the right match to reflect the destination’s unique culture while exhibiting a strong understanding of what advisors need for support.”

Gail Lea has over 20 years of sales experience most recently as an IND Travel Consultant herself. 

She was supported by the Quebec government for entrepreneurship in the form of a grant for her newly formed “FAM de Femmes” social platform where she focused on training, and educational tours to both well known and off the beaten track destinations. 

“I am very excited to represent such a unique and desirable destination” said Scullion. “My background in sales and as a travel advisor will assist me in supporting our clients”

Kristin Carlson, managing director, Tahiti Tourisme North America added: “We value the Canadian market and felt it was important to have someone that understands Canadian travel advisors throughout all provinces.” 

Gail will be focusing on building relationships with the travel trade, supporting the Tahiti Specialist Program, conducting Tahiti Tuesday training webinars, organizing FAMS and supporting Tahiti Tourisme’s promotion and communications initiatives.
