Myrtle Beach’s Can-Am Days returns, unlocking local deals
Visit Myrtle Beach is rolling out the welcome mat this week for Canadian visitors with the return of its Can-Am Days promotion.
Now in its 65th year, the campaign runs March 13-22, unlocking special deals and events specifically for Canadian visitors.
Local celebrations that week include the North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival (March 14, 2026) and the Run to the Sun Car Show (March 19-21, 2026).
South Carolina’s Grand Strand offers 100 kilometres of beaches, endless entertainment, mild weather, Southern hospitality and exclusive snowbird specials.
“Myrtle Beach has long been a home away from home and beloved Southern getaway for countless snowbirds seeking a warm-weather retreat where they can explore sunny shores, world-class golf courses and an incredible range of family-friendly entertainment,” said Stuart Butler, president of Visit Myrtle Beach, in a press release.
“We’re thrilled to continue this tradition and welcome our Canadian friends with exceptional deals and experiences designed to fit every budget.”
Canadians will find many discounts across the destination with deals being offered throughout the year.
Participating resorts are offering up to 50 per cent off standard USD lodging rates with a valid Canadian identification, while attractions such as Ripley’s Aquarium and select golf courses are extending exclusive savings for visitors presenting a Canadian ID or a Canadian Automobile Association card.
